APPOINTMENT OF SECRETARY FOR MINERAL POLICY AND GEOHAZARD MANAGEMENT

Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Lands and Mining, Dr Puka Temu has announced Cabinet’s endorsement of the appointment of Ms Nellie James as Secretary for Department of Mineral Policy and Geohazard Management.
Dr Temu said NEC was satisfied with Ms James’ performance in her capacity as acting Secretary.
Ms James, 40, holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Papua New Guinea and a post-graduate Diploma in Mineral Law & Policy from the University of Dundee, Scotland.
The appointment will be for four years.
